Natalie Tobert is a creative polymath. She received a PhD in ethno-archaeology at University of London, based on her ethnographic fieldwork with pottery makers in Sudan.
About Natalie Tobert
She completed an M.A in Middle Eastern Studies at the School of Oriental and African Studies, and some years later did an MSc in Medical Anthropology at Brunel University. Her first degree was in Fine Art Sculpture at Kingston University: she has always been a maker. She has been a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, a member of the Society of Designer Craftsmen, and London Potters. She is currently exhibiting with Harrow Open Studios, and at Headstone Manor Museum.
